The Royal Academy’s annual Summer Exhibition marks the start of the Summer Season. The world’s largest open submission contemporary art show, now in its 245th year, continues the tradition of showcasing work by both emerging and established artists in all media including painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, architecture and film. The Household Cavalry Museum is a living museum about real people doing a real job in a real place. Through a large glazed partition visitors can see the horses in the working stables stalls and at certain times troopers tending to them. Several AV and touch screen presentations give vivid insights into all aspects of the Household Cavalry. Visitors can even try on parts of the uniform. more info »
