My daughter and I took the above tour on Tuesday, August 2nd. Just wanted to express appreciation for the great guide, David, who led the tour. He provided wonderful information, amusing anecdotes, and took wonderful care of the group. I would certainly recommend that you continue to offer his guide services. He was an absolute delight.

Shakespeare's 450th Birthday
2014 is the perfect year to explore the history of Shakespeare as the country celebrates The Bard’s 450th birthday this April! William Shakespeare’s hometown of Stratford-upon-Avon has been celebrating the famous playwright’s birthday for more than 100 years and the festivities include a vibrant mix of pageantry and performance.
Residents of the town mingle with visitors to watch the grand Birthday Procession as it parades through the historic spine of Stratford and ends with the laying of flowers on Shakespeare’s grave at Holy Trinity Church. Spectators can then join in with the community parade and walk through the town alongside costumed players, musicians and creative groups. There will also be a programme of special events and activities to enjoy at the Shakespeare family homes, plus free entertainment in the streets and parks of Stratford!
