We have just returned from London and whilst we were there we went on your London bus tour. We booked this tour at Christmas through agent. When we got to the pick up point at Trafalgar square the booking agent at the stop promptly took our vouchers and printed out our tickets. He offered an upgrade to a hop on and off tour which we took because it then gave us a Thames clipper boat journey and more flexibility. He was very helpful as we had booked for three adults but he felt at 13 my son should really be classed as a child so telephoned your office to check.
Once we boarded the bus the driver was very friendly and advised us to pick up head phones, map and a rain cover which he said we may need as rain was forecast. We plunged into to the audio tour and were very impressed with the information about various landmarks and buildings on the route. We did hop off at various points along the way to take in the sights. Whilst on the journey the rain started to fall and we felt we would rather take the boat journey another day. The driver was very helpful and suggested places we could go for a coffee to warm up and which point the following day we would need to get off the bus to take the boat tour.
The following morning we decided to board the bus at a different point and waited just outside Hay-market. The bus arrived after about twenty minutes and then we were on our way. We got off at our designated stop and went to board the boat. We all thoroughly enjoyed this journey and it was something we wouldn't have done as we would imagine it too experience for us.
We then boarded the bus to return to our original stop. We all really enjoyed our bus tour and boat ride. It was one of the highlights of our break in London. The only suggestion I could make to improve this would be too perhaps have a tour with a live commentary maybe once or twice a day. We have been on a bus tour in the past in oxford and the guide was so enthusiastic about her home city she was a wealth of information that you just wouldn't be able to convey in an audio tour. That is the only suggestion I would make that would improve the tour. Myself and my family would like to thank you for such a wonderful experience and hopefully to join you again when we return to London in the summer. Keep up the good work.

I would like to commend our tour guide Joe. He was very very knowledgeable. It was just his depth of knowledge but the lovely and engaging manner in which he conveyed that knowledge which really made our tour very enjoyable. It only suggestion I would make is that ways are found to ensure that tour guides can be heard very clearly wherever passengers are sat on the bus.

Went on 3 hour panoramic tour with my 11 year old grandson. Our guide Jo was simply the best. His knowledge of London was outstanding with so many additional stories to make the tour interesting for all ages. I learned so much as did my grandson. Fantastic value for money - mind you would want Jo again when I go next time - and am now planning a trip with friends. You think you know London but my goodness we have so much to be proud of.
