The sacred town of Reims is the capital of the Champagne region and known throughout the world for its sparkling wine, champagne. Reims is also the city of coronations where most of the French Kings were crowned. In the morning, your orientation tour of Reims includes a guided visit of the Gothic cathedral. Then you will visit the superb Mumm champagne cellars created in 1827 holding 25 million bottles, and complete the visit with a tasting of the famous Cordon rouge Champagne wine before stopping for lunch (not included). In the afternoon, there is time to enjoy the picturesque landscape of vines between Reims and Epernay before visiting the prestigious wine cellars of Moet & Chandon with the opportunity to taste their reputed wine, Brut Imperial.
The cellars visit is a walking tour. The cellars can be cold so please dress warmly.
