Description

One of the leading figures of 18th century British art, Paul Sandby has long been considered the ‘father of English watercolour painting’. The exhibition will feature over 80 works and will promote the diversity of Sandby’s work stressing his cultural and geographical range as an artist. The exhibition will also mark the bicentenary of the artist’s death.
