Eurostar is running a limited service throughout the day today.
 
Golden Tours clients:

24th December - Paris tours will not operate. We are contacting all clients due to travel to offer them a full refund.

26th December - Services should resume to normal. We will provide a further update this afternoon.


 
Update 22nd December 2009
As you may be aware there have been major disruptions to Eurostar services due to the heavy snowfall in France. Eurostar will be resuming a restricted service from Tuesday 22 December. They continue to strongly advise customers whose journeys are not essential not to travel and to change their tickets for travel on a later date or have their tickets refunded. They advise only customers who hold a ticket that was originally for travel on Saturday 19th or Sunday 20th December will be eligible for travel on Tue 22 December. Seats will not be bookable in advance.

26th December - We are still awaiting an update from Eurostar as to whether the services will be back to normal and will contact any clients booked on this date to advise them of the situation.

Update 21st December 2009
As you may be aware there have been major disruptions to Eurostar services due to the heavy snowfall in France. Please find below today’s update from Eurostar.
 
Eurostar will not be operating services today, Monday 21 December, in light of heavy snowfall in northern France.

As a result of the test runs that were conducted yesterday, we now understand the cause of the disruption over the weekend and have identified the modifications that are required. 

We have already started making the modifications and to ensure that these new protection measures work effectively we are conducting a further series of test runs today. Our priority is ensuring that when we resume services we provide our customers with a robust and reliable operation.

We sincerely regret having to take this decision and we understand how frustrated and disappointed travellers will be, particularly those who have been waiting to travel for the last three days.

We strongly advise passengers whose travel is non-essential to change their booking to a later date or claim a refund on their tickets. We will provide further details on the claim process shortly.

For customers who have been unable to travel over the last few days, Eurostar will cover the cost of out-of pocket expenses, for example, hotels and taxis. Full details of our compensation policy are on www.eurostar.com

19th December - All Paris tours did not operate and clients have either been refunded in full or re-scheduled for a different date.
 
20th December - no tours operating
 
21st December - We have contacted all clients due to travel and offered them a full refund or the opportunity to re-schedule for a different date.
 
22nd December - We are still awaiting an update from Eurostar as to whether full service will be resumed and will contact any clients booked on this date to advise them of the situation.
