Worthing Museum and Art Gallery operated by the Leisure and Cultural Services section is known as "the jewel in Worthing’s crown."

You’re guaranteed a warm welcome at this friendly museum that is packed with so much to see! Worthing residents are proud of this historical gem in their town centre and rightly so.

The Museum's collections are very diverse. We have one of the largest costume collections in the country as well as a stunning collection of toys and dolls.
The Fine Art and Decorative Art Collections span several centuries and many styles. Many of the pieces are by very influential British artists and craftsmen.
The Local History Archive is very extensive as are the Collections.

VISITORS INFORMATION:

Entry is free. Open Tuesday to Saturday 10am-5pm.

Road Directions
From A24 follow signs to Broadwater town centre. Over railway bridge and 2 mini-roundabouts. At 3rd mini-roundabout take 2nd exit into Chapel Road. Town Hall and Museum are on right hand side before traffic lights, opposite Worthing Post office.

Town centre car parks are nearby.

Public Transport Directions
Bus route 700 or the Pulse stops near the Library. Routes 1 and 23 stop at the Town Hall. The Musuem is next to the Town Hall.
Worthing railway station is 10-15 minutes walk (taxis are available).
