Royal Weekend Party – Secret Lives
Warwick Castle has spilt the naughty secrets of its colourful past with the relaunch of the ultimate in pleasure-seeking house parties: The Royal Weekend Party – Secret Lives.
The Royal Weekend Party, Warwick Castle’s longest running attraction has undergone a revamp to bring to life the forbidden passions, drunken debauchery and royal bed-hopping of the most scandalous periods in the Castle’s history. The new experience transports guests back to June 1898 and to the weekend party of the Marlborough House Set, and seeks to unravel the sex, scandal and secrets of the Victorian elite, hosted by Castle beauty, Daisy, Countess of Warwick, who, it would seem, isn’t as flawless as her alabaster complexion.
The new tour aims to uncover the truth on Victorian aristocratic life and is based on true accounts and historical facts recorded at the time, including Daisy’s own personal diary.
