Date Saturday 2 July to Sunday 02 October 2016
The Royal Academy, Burlington House, Piccadilly.
Don’t miss out on the stunning exhibition at The Royal Academy, celebrating one of the most influential British artists of the 20th century – David Hockney. Known for his bold use of colour and evocative style, Hockney returns to the Royal Academy with a brand new body of work, entitled ‘82 Portraits and 1 Still-life’.

Focusing on portraiture, each painting is the same size, was painted in three days, shows the sitter in the same chair and is set against the same blue background. Hockney has chosen to paint people from all walks of his life, from office staff to fellow artists, performers and gallerists – each personality captured in his unique style.
