Beware of Fake Golden Tours Job Adverts

Golden Tours is aware of recent incidents involving scammers who are advertising jobs on Facebook, WhatsApp. LinkedIn and Telegram for the fraudulent websites, goldentours.world and goldentours.agency.

Scammers are targeting members of the public in Canada with offers of very attractive freelance or work-from-home job opportunities for high commissions.

These individuals and/or organisation who are posting fraudulent job advertisements and requesting money, do not work for Golden Tours and are in no way affiliated with our brand. They are using the Golden Tours name, logo and branding without authorisation.

UPDATE. The website goldentours.world was successfully taken down by the Domain Hosts Alibaba on Friday 19th Jan 2024. At the beginning of March 2024, goldentours.agency was also taken down by Alibaba.

Members of the public are advised to stay vigilant

Golden Tours does not use Telegram and does not contact individuals on WhatsApp or Facebook regarding job opportunities.

How to protect yourself against job scams:

Contact Golden Tours directly if you have any doubts or concerns about the legitimacy of a job advertisement.
Always double-check the authenticity of a website before signing up (Golden Tours’ official website is www.goldentours.com).
Do not share your personal and private information with scammers.
Do not make any transactions/transfer money to people you do not know or have not met.
Block the number and report it as spam if possible.
Report the Facebook post as spam if possible.
