During the course of the year, numerous events and marches take place in Central London, which require our routes to be diverted. Some of the stops may not be able to be served.

We are in constant contact with Transport for London and have blocked out dates when tours will be impossible, but would just like to issue a general disclaimer that we may have to divert our route on some tours without prior warning.

Fortunately we are London experts and our staff will be pleased to give you the information you require to ensure you can use our services with confidence. We would like to let you know about any changes to the routes in advance where possible. 
 
Sunday 3 June to Sunday 29 July 2018 – repairs to Gas Main

Road works – City - Delays and diversions possible.

Stop 41 will not be served during these works.

Friday 13 July 2018 – Women’s March against Trump

March – Portland Place to Parliament Square - Delays and diversions possible.

Limited service to stops, 3, 4, 5, 20, 21 & 22 while march passes.

Saturday 14 July 2018 – Belgian Army Wreath Laying

Ceremony – Whitehall closed all day - Stops 3 & 4 will not be served all day.

Saturday 14 July 2018 – Tommy Robinson Protest

Protest – Whitehall closed all day - Stops 3 & 4 will not be served all day.

Saturday 14 July 2018 – Support Trump March

March – Vauxhall to Whitehall - Stops 3 & 4 will not be served all day.

Sunday 15 July 2018 – British 10k

Event – Westminster - Diversions and delays possible.

Stops 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 20, 21, 22, 32, 33, 44 & 48 will not be served until roads re-open after event (approx. 1530 onwards).

Tuesday 17 July 2018 – Standard Chartered Great City Race

Event – City - Delays possible in City after 1800.

Saturday 28 July 2018 – Freecycle

Major event – Diversions and stop closures all day both days.

Stops 3, 4, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 32, 33, 44, 70, 73, & 74 will not be served all day.

Sunday 29 July 2018 – Ride London

Major event – Diversions and stop closures all day both days.

Stops 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 32, 33, 44, 46, 48, 51, 52, 70, 73 & 74 will not be served all day.

Stops 29, 30, 36, 37, 39, 40 & 41 will not be served until approx.1330 when roads re-open.

Wednesday 1 August 2018 – Reparation March

March – Brixton to Parliament Square and return – delays and diversions possible..

Sunday 5 August 2018 – London Triathlon

Major event – Diversions and stop closures during event, all routes on diversion.

Stops 29, 30, 36, 37, 39 & 41 will not be served until after 1400 when roads re-open.

Monday 6 August 2018 to mid-September 2018 – Closure of Embankment

Road closure – Southwark Bridge to Blackfriars Bridge – Lilac route diverted, delays possible.

Saturday 25 August 2018 – Animal Rights March

March – Millbank to Hyde Park – delays and diversions possible.

Sunday 9 September 2018 – Tour of Britain

Major event – Central London - Diversions and stop closures all day.

Saturday 15 September 2018 – Apprentice Boys of Derry

Parade – Temple to Whitehall and return – Delays possible.

Sunday 30 September 2017 – Sheep Drive

Sheep Drive – London Bridge – Delays possible in area.

Sunday 14 October 2018 – Royal Parks Half-Marathon

Major event – Diversions and stop closures all day.

Stop closures: The following stops will have no service during the event, up to 1300 approximately: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23, 44 & 46.

From 1300 approx. normal service will operate, and all stops will be served.

Saturday 10 November 2018 - Lord Mayors Show

Large Procession - Road Closures in City - Diversions on all Tours.

The following stops will have no service until after 1500 approximately: 22, 23, 24 & 25.

Sunday 11 November 2018 – Remembrance Sunday

Closure of Whitehall – diversions in force during closure. 

Numerous other ceremonies taking place during the day at other locations.

The following stops will have no service on this day: 3, 4, 5, 32, 33.

Stop 22 Duncannon Street will only be served by Blue and Orange route buses.

Monday 31 December 2018 – New Year’s Eve Celebrations & Fireworks.

On Monday 31st December 2018, the New Year Eve Fireworks display will be held. Large areas of Central London will be closed to traffic in stages from 1400 hrs.

Stops 3, 4, 5, 32 & 33 will not be served after 1400. 

Tuesday 1 January 2019 - New Year Day Parade

On Tuesday 1st January 2018 large areas of Central London closed to traffic all day to facilitate the New Year Day Parade.

Stops 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 18, 20, 21, 22, 32, 33 & 44 will not be served until roads re-open. 

Sunday 3 February 2019 – Winter Run

Major Event – Westminster and City - All routes on diversion.

Stops 3 and 4 will not be served until 1300 approx.

Stops 22, 23, 24, 24, 41, 44, 70, 73 and 74 will not be served until 1330 approx.

Sunday 10 February 2019 – Chinese New Year

On Sunday 10th February 2019, the Chinese New Year Celebrations will take place. An area surrounding China Town will be closed to traffic all day. 

Stops 20, 21, 22 and 44 will not be served all day.

Alternative stop for passengers from above stops will be Whitehall stop 4. 

Sunday 17 March 2019 – St Patrick’s Day - Parade

Parade - Central London - Blue and Red routes on diversion.

Stops 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 20, 21, 32 and 33 will not be served from 1130 until 1500 approximately.

Sunday 24 March 2019 – London Half-Marathon

Major event – Diversions and stop closures all day.

Stops 3, 4, 5, 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30 36, 44 and 70 will not be served until roads re-open.

Sunday 28 April 2019 – London Marathon

Major event – Diversions and stop closures all day.

Stops 3, 4, 29, 30, 32, 33, 36, 37, 39, & 41 will not be served all day.
