Description
A once-in-a-lifetime event, Disney100: The Exhibition marks the official 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company. This global celebration will feature a 20,000-square-foot exhibition showcasing Disney’s most timeless stories in London’s iconic ExCel.
Step into ten spectacularly large and magnificent themed galleries for a visual, audio and interactive experience like no other. You’ll discover moving stories, unique interactive installations and behind-the-scenes magic as you go on a mesmerising and nostalgic journey through 100 years of The Walt Disney Company.
Discover Disney’s newest members — Pixar, Star Wars, MARVEL and National Geographic, alongside the renowned classics Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) and Encanto (2021). What’s more, The Walt Disney Archives will open its incredible vault to showcase hundreds of extraordinary objects, over 250 rarely seen artefacts and works of art, costumes, props and other memorabilia.
In the gallery Where Do the Stories Come From? visitors can see the original Dutch storybook from the opening scene of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. You’ll also see the carousel horse which Dick Van Dyke rode in Mary Poppins (1964) and the crystal glass slipper from Cinderella (2015). In The Illusion of Life gallery, see the iconic red dress from Cruella (2021) and in The Spirit of Adventure and Discovery gallery, discover the Iron Man helmet from Avengers: Infinity War (2018).
There will be plenty of photo opportunities with your favourite Disney characters including life-sized ‘Incredibles Family’, Mickey, Goofy and Dopey as well as fun and interactive games for children throughout The Exhibition. It’s the perfect day out for all the family!
