Dingles Fairground Heritage Centre

The Dingles Fairground Heritage Centre is home to the National Fairground Collection and the Fairground Heritage Trust. It is a facility unique in the UK.

Dingles Fairground Heritage Centre is a 45,000 square foot indoor attraction that provides a unique opportunity to view our Fairground Heritage in a beautiful rural location.

The Dingles Fairground Heritage Centre is proud to present the National Fairground Collection. It is a facility unique in the UK, designed to capture the magic of a bygone age through exhibits, vintage engineering and stunning artwork displays.

There are superb displays of Fairground Art and Memorabilia, and large array of vintage rides, stalls and shows. Our vintage fairground rides operate at special events and at some other times - please check before visiting. Additional charges may apply.

There are special themed events throughout the season, in addition to which we are open from April to October, every day except Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Come along and pay us a visit - it's a great day out for all the family.

Thursdays - Mondays inclusive (closed Tuesday & Wednesday).
Open all week during school summer holidays.
10:30 until 5:30. Last entry 4:00.
Free Parking and entry to our café and gift shop.

Child/Senior £5.00
Child under 3 years old free
Family saver ticket (for two adults and up to four children.) £21.00
Vintage rides at extra cost (subject to availability).
Coaches welcome by arrangement.
Dogs (on a lead please) welcome in the car park only.


Cafeteria is open during normal opening hours serving a selection of home made meals using fresh local ingredients. A variety of hot and cold drinks are available, plus ice creams and confectionery.

How to find the Dingles Fairground Heritage Centre:

The Dingles Fairground Heritage Centre is just one mile from the A30 in West Devon, 35 miles west of Exeter, and seven miles east of Launceston. Watch out for the brown signs on the A30 and minor roads.
From Torbay and East Devon, go to Exeter and then down the A30. From Plymouth and South Devon, go to Tavistock TOWN CENTRE, not to Launceston. From the church take the Chillaton road and follow the brown signs for 12 miles. From Cornwall follow the A30 towards Exeter.
