Description
Take to the waterways around York this summer to explore the beautiful city in a new and unique way. You can now hire a small boat for an hour and self-drive your way around, keeping your travelling companions amused as you sail around.
The small boats have a maximum capacity of 5 people, and you pay per boat, so you have the choice to travel as a group or perhaps you are looking to impress that special somebody with your ‘captain’ skills.
York is full of history and has a Viking past. You can explore the city walls and find The Shambles by land, then take to the water to see things from a different angle and have a great day out. The perfect day in York is a trip on the Golden Tours Open Top bus, followed by you taking to the water, for an hour of fun.
