The National Motorcycle Museum
The National Motorcycle Museum opened its doors in October 1984, with a collection of more than 350 motorcycles on display. The National Motorcycle Museum is recognised as the finest and largest motorcycle museum in the world. Our aim is to make it even better.

Important and famous machines are forever being added to collection.
The Biggest & Best
Since opening, this magnificent centre has become the largest motorcycle museum in the world and attracts around 250,000 visitors a year. One of the biggest attractions for many guests is the comprehensive cross-section of machines, spanning the “60 Glorious Year” of motorcycle manufacturing in this country. The museum’s aim is to preserve these pieces of history for future generations to come, as a reminder of this great nations industry, engineering prowess and work ethic. Within the five exhibition halls will be found some 650 plus machines, fully restored to the manufacturers original specifications.
It is a place where ‘Legends Live On’ and it is a tribute to and a living record of this once great British industry that dominated world markets for some sixty years. It is a place where an older generation can once again view with nostalgia the machines they rode in days gone by, and younger generations can study the development of the motorcycle from its earlier days to the golden years of the 1930s-60s, when British motorcycles ‘ruled the world’.
A fully licensed self-service restaurant and a bike museum gift shop is available throughout opening hours, but it is the motorcycles that most visitors will come to see, and we wish them a very happy time with us amidst the glittering paint, chrome and nickel of the past.
As well as being the nation's best bike museum, The National Motorcycle Museum is also the perfect place as a business conference venue. The Museum have over 13 different Conference Rooms for Hire and Banqueting Rooms for hire for corporate events. The National Motorcycle Museum location in the heart of the West Midlands Countryside is the ideal place for weddings, business seminars or team building days.
