Description
The Royal London Private Walking Tour is designed just for you and your group. The 90-minute personalised experience brings the story of the British Royal Family to life at some of the capital’s most iconic royal landmarks.
Follow your private guide to St James' Palace. Commissioned by Henry VIII, it is today the London residence of Princess Anne, the only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. With the flexibility of a private tour, you’ll have time to ask questions, take photos, and explore the fascinating stories behind this historic palace.
You’ll then visit Buckingham Palace and, when available, witness the world-famous Changing of the Guard ceremony. Your guide knows the best viewing spots, ensuring you enjoy prime positioning for unforgettable photos and videos without the stress of navigating the crowds alone.
Explore The Mall, Clarence House – the London residence of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, and St James’s, one of central London’s most distinguished districts. See hidden courtyards where some of the city’s last sword duels took place, visit London’s oldest wine merchant and traditional hat shop (established in 1676), and pass by the former barber of Prince Philip. See the Horse Guards Parade, the ceremonial parade ground where the monarch’s official birthday is celebrated each year with the spectacular Trooping the Colour.
Your tour concludes with entry to Westminster Abbey, where every monarch since 1308 has been crowned. Explore the Coronation Chair, Poets’ Corner, and the final resting places of UK monarchs and prime ministers. Entry includes a multimedia guide.
