Description
Starting in Edinburgh, you will cross the iconic Forth Bridge and travel through Aberdour before continuing into the East Neuk of Fife. Stopping in the town of Anstruther – home of the Scottish Fisheries Museum, you can stretch your legs and enjoy the surroundings before travelling through the villages of Pittenweem, Crail and St. Monans.
Next, you will arrive in the medieval town of St. Andrews for lunch and an extended visit. Here you can walk around the famous town, see the oldest university in Scotland, the historic Cathedral, and the golf course. The tour allows approximately three hours of free time, allowing you to have something to eat, explore, snap pictures, and relax.
Be awed by the cobbled streets in the centre, the ancient buildings and stunning architecture before hopping back on the bus.
On the journey back, you will cross the Lomond Hills and stop in Falkland for a photo opportunity. Outlander fans may recognise the village as the setting for 1960s Inverness in the hit TV show.
You will travel to Loch Leven and onto the picturesque village of South Queensferry for a final stop before the St Andrews & The Fishing Villages of Fife tour reaches its final destination back in Edinburgh.
