Join this 1-hour Early Evening Cruise for an entertaining and informative tour of historic York by boat. As you cruise along the River Ouse, the captain will keep you entertained with live commentary on all of those important facts and figures concerning the many passing sights.
The boat sets sail from King’s Staith Landing in York’s city centre, returning to the same location an hour later. In that time, you’ll learn about York’s history of flooding and its prosperity as an inland port, as you sail along the river that brought the Romans and the Vikings to this site.
As this is an early evening cruise, you might be lucky enough to catch the gorgeous sunset from the top deck! The vessel that you will sail on also features an enclosed and heated saloon, so is great in all weather conditions. There are also rest rooms and a fully stocked bar with a wide selection of local snacks and beverages. There really is no better way to kick start your perfect evening in York.
