Oxfordshire Museum

Set in the historic town of Woodstock, the Oxfordshire Museum tells the story of Oxfordshire through 11 galleries and many exhibitions featuring history, popular culture, contemporary arts and crafts throughout the year.

The museum features:
beautifully planted gardens
a stunning display of early spring bulbs
lots of room for families, picnics or for quiet relaxation

Dinosaur garden
The garden features:
fossilised megalosaur footprints discovered at Ardley Quarry, near Bicester, which have been carefully installed in the walled garden
full-sized replica of megalosaurus on display
lush ‘Jurassic’ planting
seating made from boulders and tree stumps

Open: Tuesday-Saturday 10am-5pm; Sunday 2-5pm; closed Mondays. Last admission 4.45pm.
Open: 10am - 5pm, 30 August Bank Holiday Monday.

Disabled access
The Oxfordshire Museum is pleased to welcome visitors with disabilities. The public areas of the museum are fully accessible and the museum has an adapted toilet.
