Thinktank Museum
Thinktank redefines the concept of a science museum. Think of it more as a way to discover the world around you and the life you lead.
From steam engines to intestines, Thinktank has over 200 hands-on displays on science and technology from the past, present and future. This includes the state-of-the-art Planetarium, where you can tour the night sky and fly through the galaxy without stepping a foot outside! With an ever-changing programme of workshops, classes, laboratory sessions and interactive science shows, there’s always something new to discover.
VISITORS INFORMATION:
Thinktank is open seven days a week, except Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Opening hours are 10.00am-5.00pm with last admission at 4pm.

Thinktank is open from 10am - 5pm 7 days a week, except 24, 25 and 26 December, with last admission at 4pm.
Please allow 2-4 hours for your visit to Thinktank, 25 minutes for a Planetarium show and IMAX films vary from 40 mins to 2.5 hours. Check IMAX schedule for details. Tickets are valid only on the day of purchase and can be used to re-enter Thinktank throughout the day.

How to Get Here:
By Car
Thinktank, Birmingham science museum is situated within Millennium Point and located on Curzon Street in Digbeth, minutes from Birmingham city centre and The Bullring. It is clearly signposted from all main routes into the city - simply follow the brown tourist signs. The nearest motorways are the M6, M5 and M42.
There is car parking on site (charges apply) and the entrance is situated off Curzon Street.
By Rail
The nearest train station is Moor Street station (10 mins walk away) and then New Street Station (15 mins walk away). Snowhill station is also close by (15 mins walk away).
By Foot
Thinktank is less than a 10 minute walk from Marks and Spencer which is opposite Moor Street station:
1. From the rear of M&S, use the pedestrian crossing towards Moor Street Station.
2. Turn left, and follow Moor Street Queensway.
3. Turn right at Island House onto Albert Street.
4. At the end of Albert Street turn left onto Park Street.
5. Cross the road where it branches off and then turn right, following the pavement around, over the crossing and turn right into Curzon Street. Thinktank is on the left.
By Bus
From the City Centre to Millennium Point entrance on Jennens Road catch service 55 from Lower Bull Street (Stop Od).
From the City Centre to Millennium Point entrance on Curzon Street (Millennium Square entrance) catch service 27 from Lower Bull Street (Stop Ob). On foot: Thinktank and IMAX® Cinema at Millennium Point are located a 10-15 minute walk from the Rotunda.
From Lower Bull Street catch number 14 (stop da), 54 (sop db/dc) to Jennens Road.
From St Martin’s Queensway catch number 82 and 87 (stop va) to The Priory Queensway. Bus service 63 (stop vc) to The Priory Queensway, bus mall (stop ph)
