Description
Go on a great British adventure this Christmas and take a trip to three fantastic historical locations.

Your luxurious coach will leave Victoria at 8:30am sharp so make sure you're there at least 30 minutes before to check in.

Windsor
The first stop on your festive foray in to English culture is the royal town of Windsor. This historic market town attracts over half a million tourists a year who flock to see the Queen’s preferred weekend residence Windsor Castle, and walk through the cobbled streets taking in the heritage architecture. The castle is closed on Christmas day but there is plenty to see as a knowledgeable guide takes you around the beautiful town. Look out for Queen Charlotte Street, the shortest street in the world, and Britain’s only blue letter box!

Oxford
Next stop is the iconic city of Oxford, home to the second oldest university in the world at 922 years old! Your guide will take you to a traditional English pub for a delicious Christmas lunch featuring roast turkey with all the trimmings and Christmas pudding.

Explore the Alma Mater of notable figures like Stephen Hawking and Indira Gandhi, wandering down the honey-coloured streets listening to your guide regale you with facts and stories.

Avebury
Go further back in time with your next stop, the mysterious Avebury, the largest megalithic stone circle in the world. Three stone circles make up the Avebury stones whose purpose remains unsolved. Some say burial mound some say site of worship and some, more controversially believe it was built to commemorate the final battle of the legendary King Arthur.

Your whirlwind tour of English culture ends here, and your comfy coach will drop you back in London at approximately 6:30pm.
