Get on and off as many times as you please for the duration of one day.

The Routes

The Essential Tour (Blue route): This route includes a live English-speaking guide and covers all the main sights in central London. The guide will enlighten and entertain you every step of the way as you see Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Tower Bridge, St Paul’s Cathedral and more.

The Classic Tour (Red route): As well journeying through all the main London landmarks, this route visits London’s Museum Quarter – where you’ll find the Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum.

The Grand Tour (Orange route): This route passes by Madame Tussauds and the vibrant King’s Cross area, as well as many other Central London sights and locations.

The Thames Tour (Lilac Route): This route will leave you right on the doorstep of London’s most iconic landmarks and locations next to the River Thames, including Parliament Square and St James’s Palace.

The Pick-up/Drop-off Services (Yellow route and green routes): Operating in the morning and evening, these services travel to and from popular hotel districts into Central London.

Please Note:
  • The Hop-on hop-off bus ticket can only be used on one calendar day.
  • Buses depart every 5-10 mins from the main tourist points and every 15-20 mins from elsewhere.
  • Various major events take place in London - these may cause route changes and/or disruptions. These events can take place at short notice.
  • St Paul’s Cathedral offers complimentary entry for a visitor with a disability and an accompanying carer or necessary companion – these tickets should be requested on arrival.
  • The Whispering Gallery at St Paul’s Cathedral is temporarily closed and is expected to remain closed until Easter or Summer 2020.
Hop-on Hop-off buses operate on a daily basis.

Departure point: You can join the tour from any of our 70 stops. Each of our stops will be clearly signposted Golden Tours Hop on Hop off/London Tour Bus.

St. Paul's Cathedral

Monday to Saturday

The Cathedral is open to sightseers between 8:30am – 4:00pm (last admission)
The galleries are open to sightseers from 9:30am – 4:15pm (last admission)

Special services or events may close all or part of the Cathedral at short notice.
Sunday open for worship only and there is no sightseeing.
