Warwick Castle 1,100th Anniversary
Warwick Castle turns 1,100 years old in 2014 and the celebrations are going off with a bang! The castle is staging a Summer Proms to remember this year with a music and firework extravaganza. The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra will be on hand to perform popular classics, film themes and all the Union Jack waving favourites.
There will also be a tribute to the heroes of D-Day as the world remembers the anniversary of the Normandy landings. A special aerial display by an original World War II Spitfire will zoom across the skies and a spectacular firework display will burst over the historic castle to finish off the fun.

Walking Tour of Oxford
Oxford is famous for being home to the oldest university in the English speaking world – countless bright young things have wandered the town’s cobbled streets over the years! During this guided walking tour you will see the stunning Bodleian Library and furtively discover unspoilt narrow alleyways, ancient squares and towering spires.

The Cotswolds

As the tour drives through the Cotswolds, you’ll see quintessential English countryside from the coach. Rolling hills, sleepy villages and market towns dot the landscape as far as the eye can see.

Stratford-Upon-Avon & Shakespeare’s Birthplace

William Shakespeare called the market town of Stratford-Upon-Avon home, and you will visit the brilliant poet and playwright’s birthplace during this tour. Walk through the house where he grew up as the legendary Bard is brought to life!

Optional Lunch at Warwick Castle

You have the option of enjoying a delicious meal at one of Warwick Castle’s unique lunch venues. After a morning spent climbing the castle’s towers and exploring the grounds, replenish your energy and tuck in to a one course meal of your choice at the Coach House Family Restaurant, The Undercroft (Carvery) or at one of Warwick Castle’s seasonal food areas. The restaurants and stalls serve up traditional and mouth-watering English fare and are open throughout the year so you’re guaranteed to find something tasty on offer!
