This 1,100 year old castle sits in 60 acres of landscaped grounds and gardens and immerses visitors in medieval life. During your visit to Warwick Castle, you can see the Great Hall and the State Rooms, fully restored to their 17th century elegance! These rooms are home to the Castle’s most prized artefacts. Experience the sights and smells of 15th century battle and climb to the top of the towers on the rampart trail – this is no ordinary castle experience! (Please note that entrance to Warwick Castle Dungeon is not included in this tour.)
After visiting Warwick Castle, the tour will drive through the Cotswolds as we head to Stratford-upon-Avon. The Cotswolds are known for their natural beauty and feature lush green hills, quaint villages and market towns. It’s the English countryside at its very best!
Shakespeare’s hometown of Stratford-upon-Avon is a bustling market town on the River Avon. You will visit the pretty town to see the half timbered house when the world’s most famous playwright was born as your guide tells you all about his life in Stratford-upon-Avon.
