Description
Experience new heights and new views with Summit at Alexandra Palace. Climb the UK’s highest roof walk and enjoy amazing vistas across London, up to 25 miles away. Led by an expert tour guide in a small group, this experience delivers a fascinating journey through over 150 years of history paired with unmatched 360-degree views across London.
Your experience begins inside The East Court before moving to the historic Rose Window Balcony where you will complete a short safety briefing and be fitted with a full-body harness. Once securely attached, you will follow a specially designed route up onto the roof. Enjoy stories about the venue’s rich history as you climb.
You will reach the roof apex and the Angel of Plenty statue, where the views open to a 350-degree panorama of London. On a clear day, you can see St Paul’s Cathedral, Canary Wharf, The Shard, the London Eye, Premier League football stadiums, and so much more. Pause, soak it in and enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The venue is set within 196 acres of parkland looking over London, making it easy to turn your tour into a full day out. Visitors can explore the grounds, visit the indoor ice rink, or grab food and drinks at the on-site cafés, bar, and pub. Reaching the site is simple, with fast connections by train or tube from across London, alongside ample on-site parking for those arriving by car.

- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your scheduled time.
- Minimum age is 8 years old. Minimum height is 1.25m. Maximum weight is 130kg. Harness limits: Waist 120cm, thighs 75cm.
- Under 18’s must be with an adult (1 adult can supervise up to 4 minors).
- All guests are required to sign a waiver before taking part in the climb.
- There can be no items in your pockets, even if zipped. Phones may only be taken up in a Summit secure phone pouch, available for purchase on site.
- Pregnant customers or those recovering from major surgery should check the company T&Cs before booking. Customers under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed to participate in this activity.
- Essential medication, such as inhalers or insulin, must be declared to the team.
- Wear appropriate clothing for the weather and wearing a harness, and secure shoes (with a backstrap).
- Bags, food, drink, cameras and umbrellas must be stored at reception in a locker.
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled climb.
- Climbs go ahead in most weather conditions. In the event of extreme weather, climbs may be postponed. If you cannot be rebooked, you will be refunded.
- All guests are required to sign a waiver before taking part in the climb.
