Visit some of the most famous areas in the Scottish Highlands, including Loch Ness, Glencoe and the Highlands, on this incredible day trip from Edinburgh. Filled with dramatic scenery, stunning landmarks and locations, and plenty of stories and facts from your expert driver guide, this tour is not to be missed.
Your first stop on the tour will be at Kilmahog for some light refreshments and the exciting possibility of seeing a Highland cow! After, you will travel through Rob Roy Country of Clans MacGregor and Campbell and through the dramatic landscape of Rannoch Moor and the Black Mount to Glencoe.
Next, the tour will take you to Fort William for lunch and then onto the Great Glen, passing Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis. Travel through the village of Fort Augustus before reaching Urquhart Castle, where you can choose to take part in a cruise and castle excursion for an extra cost or enjoy free time at the Clansman Hotel.
Explore the area, enjoy a drink, take plenty of photos, and catch your breath before hopping back on the bus to begin your journey back to Edinburgh.
