Explore the stunning scenery, history and culture of Ireland’s County Cork and County Tipperary on this wonderful day trip leaving from Dublin at 8am.
Drive down towards Blarney, passing incredible panoramic views of the Galtee mountains and through the Golden Vale with green fields as far as the eye can see. The first stop on the trip is the Rock of Cashel in Tipperary. This evocative spot is dotted with ruins, Celtic crosses and the most striking medieval architecture, a truly unforgettable experience.
Next, arrive in Cork city for some free time to explore. Known as the ‘Rebel City’ due to the important role it played in the War of Independence, Cork is vibrant, beautiful and jam-packed with history and culture.
The last stop on the tour is Blarney Castle. Take a walk around the spectacular gardens, perhaps enjoy the Lake Walk, visit the Witches Cave and don’t miss out on kissing the world-famous Blarney Stone. Kissing the stone is said to give you the ‘gift of the gab’ and you have to bend over backwards to do it!
Arrive back to Dublin at approximately 8pm.
