Description

Strawberry Fields Forever. We all know the song, and now you can experience the real thing. Visit the former Salvation Army site where John Lennon visited as a kid to relax and unwind, that went on to be the inspiration for the world-famous song know by generations of people across the world.

Through this interactive visitor exhibition, you can learn more about the history of Strawberry Fields and hear stories about how John Lennon came to write the song and his experiences in the grounds of the former children’s home.

The exhibition has been built and run in the way that John Lennon would have wanted it to be. All profits go towards funding programmes aimed at helping those with learning difficulties or other barriers to employment. The program is called Steps at Strawberry Field. All food in the café is also locally sourced.
