 Day 1 – Greenwich

Start your 4 day UK adventure by checking into your idyllic hotel for the night in one of London’s best-loved locations, Greenwich. Once settled, head out to the famous Royal Observatory attraction for an exploration through time and space like no other.

At the Royal Observatory, stand on the iconic Meridian Line that separates the eastern and western hemispheres, journey through space in the enchanting Planetarium and discover the history of Greenwich Mean Time. You’ll also get to see John Harrison’s world-famous timekeepers up close and explore the home of the Astronomer royals without the need for a time machine!

On your British exploration, you’ll get to settle down to a delicious quintessential British lunch at Goddard’s restaurant. This traditional food will consist of the classic pie and mash made with British mincemeat, alongside British steak, chicken and vegetarian pies.

Why not complete your Greenwich adventure with a (virtual) round the world trip on the Cutty Sark? See how long it takes you to steer the ship across the globe with this fully immersive and interactive experience before discovering why it’s one of the most famous vessels in history!

Day 2 – Canterbury

Day 2 takes you to the medieval city of Canterbury in Kent, the ‘Garden of England’. As you venture into the centre of the city, you’ll get to enjoy spectacular sights of Canterbury’s medieval city walls that represent the defence built by the Romans in 270-280AD.

On arrival to this picturesque city, check-in to your hotel and get ready to continue your time-travelling adventures in one of the most historic cities in the UK.

The first place you must go to when visiting Canterbury is of course Canterbury Cathedral. Located in the heart of the city centre, amongst the cobbled winding back streets, independent fudge shops, boutiques and medieval tourist shops, Canterbury Cathedral is a real sight to behold. Venture inside this famous landmark and come up close to the tomb of Thomas Becket, the former Archbishop of Canterbury until his untimely despise in the Cathedral itself. Enjoy views of the exquisite stained glass windows, monuments and memorials and incredible architecture of one of the oldest Christian structures in England.

If you want to continue your deep-dive into the history of Canterbury, head to the Canterbury Tales by the high-street. This immersive, actor-led experience tells the pilgrims tales of treacherous medieval past written by the world-famous writer, Christopher Marlow.

For your evening entertainment, head to the Marlow Theatre for one of the many musicals or dramatic shows or dine out in one of the many small, welcoming restaurants that line the high-street.

Day 3 – Cambridge

Check out of your hotel and jump aboard your high-speed train to your next time-travelling destination – Cambridge! Known for its quintessential English traditions and look, Cambridge is bursting at the seams with rich history to see and discover at every turn.

Here, you’ll get to soak in idyllic views of the city with a perfect punting tour along the famous River Cam. Led by an expert Puntagenet, you’ll get to glide across the waters, relaxing to the sounds of the trickling river as you enjoy some of the best sights that the city has to offer.

In the afternoon, why not discover more about this city with a walk through the gorgeous city streets. See Trinity College, the University of Cambridge’s King’s College with its splendid late Gothic architecture and maybe sneak a glimpse of Kettle’s yard.

Your Time Travelling Tour is over and you’ll return back to modern day on a train back to London from Cambridge!
